Bank XP

How much Crafting XP is sitting in your bank: gems, glass, hides, staves, and golem furs.

Paste your bank to see what it is worth
Export your bank from RuneLite (rows of id, name, quantity) and paste it once. It is shared with every other tool on the site, so the herblore page reads the same paste.

About the banked Crafting XP calculator

Paste a bank export and get the total Crafting XP sitting in it: gems and jewellery, glassblowing, hides and leather, battlestaves, spinning and weaving, pottery, and Golem Crafting furs. Built for Old School RuneScape ironmen, where every gem, hide, and bar was gathered rather than bought.

What makes this different

It is consumption aware. A gold bar can become a diamond amulet or a tiara, never both, so the engine allocates your real bank quantities across every recipe that wants them and reports whatever is left with the reason it did not count. Tools that price each material on its own quietly count the same bar twice.

It counts golem furs. Banked hunter furs are Crafting XP through Golem Crafting on Wyrmscraig, and no other banked-XP tool models them. It is off by default because the activity is quest locked.

It ships post-nerf data. Cutting a zenyte is 50 XP, not the older value that the wiki's own static calculator and the RuneLite plugin still carry.

Assumptions the number rests on

  • Each banked fur counts a whole golem: 1,560 XP plus that fur's own XP, one golem per fur. This is the largest single multiplier on the page, so if you expected a fur to be worth only its fur bonus, that is the difference.
  • Sunstones are assumed mined. A golem needs 5 of them, and the panel reports the total, but banked sunstones never cap the golem count.
  • Molten glass stops at the product you blow from it. Blowing an unpowered orb is Crafting XP and counts like any other glassblowing product, but this page never carries that orb on to a battlestaff, so leftover battlestaves name the unmodelled chain instead of blaming a missing partner.
  • Orb charging is a switch, off by default. Turn it on in Settings → Assumptions and unpowered orbs already in your bank attach to banked battlestaves, worth 100 XP or more for every staff they fill; leave it off and those orbs sit in the leftovers with a chip to turn it on.
  • Cutting opal, jade, and red topaz is an expected value that includes the chance to crush the gem, evaluated at your Crafting level, so those pools stay fractional all the way through.
  • Tanning fees, thread, moulds, needles, chisels, hammers, nails, and runes are assumed available. None of them gate a recipe here.
  • Shields are never chosen automatically. Their Fletching shield and nail inputs are not bank driven, so a d'hide, snakeskin, or hard leather shield only ever appears if you pin it yourself.
  • With the level gate off (the default), the total includes recipes above your current Crafting level. Turn it on in Settings → Assumptions to count only what you can make today.
  • All game data is hardcoded from the OSRS Wiki, so the page makes no network requests and works fully offline.

What is deliberately not counted

Bird houses (the logs are Woodcutting bank material and whether banked clockwork should gate them is genuinely ambiguous), shields of every kind unless you pin one, and studded leather. Quest and unlock one-offs are out too: slayer rings, the Conductor, the Silvthrill rod, gold helmets and bowls, the enchanted bar, and the silver bar to unstrung emblem step behind the Observatory Quest mould. A banked unstrung emblem still counts its stringing XP, because holding one means you already have the mould.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my total differ from other Crafting calculators?

Three reasons, in the order they usually matter. Other tools price each material independently, so a bank of gold bars and cut gems gets counted twice over; this one allocates every bar exactly once and reports the loser. Other tools do not count golem furs at all, and with that switch on each banked fur is worth 1,560 XP plus that fur's own XP. And some still carry the pre-nerf zenyte value. The level gate matters too: by default this page counts recipes above your current level, which several calculators refuse to do.

How do I export my bank?

Any source that produces id name quantity rows works; RuneLite's Data Exporter plugin is the usual one. Paste the result into Settings → Bank export. The paste is shared with every tool on the site and is read when a page opens.

How do I choose what a gem becomes?

Settings → Materials, where every pool you hold can be pinned to one of its own products. Left on auto, each pool goes to its highest XP per unit of the material driving it, which is not the same as the highest XP per action: a snakeskin bandana beats a snakeskin body by more than twice over once you count skins rather than actions.

What if I do not have Golem Crafting yet?

Leave the switch off and your furs appear in the leftovers with a chip to turn it on. The activity needs the Fallen From Grace quest, which effectively means Crafting 60; the Golem Crafting calculator shows what each fur pays and how long it takes.

Item ids, recipe XP, and the Golem Crafting constants verified against the OSRS Wiki on 2026-07-31. Static data, no live lookups.
